FTFZ-CD youth find entrepreneurial opportunity in agricultural mechanization
Five FTFZ-CD youth (two females, three males) from Chimanimani, Chipinge (Manicaland Province), Mhondoro-Ngezi and Sanyati districts (Mashonaland West), participated in a one-day private sector companies field visit in Harare, to learn about small-scale mechanization that youth can invest in enterprises.
The youth visited Kurima Machinery, Nutrie Foods and Agro-Resolve. At Kurima Machinery, they were shown grinding mills, peanut butter machines, vegetation choppers to make silage, shellers of different sizes and a two-wheel tractor that can be used for land preparation, as well as work as a sheller engine and water pump.
